Beautiful to Behold

The Star Wars Archive books, just like the rest of the Archive series and all that Taschen publishes, are thoughtful, comprehensive and just beautifully put together. You don't have to be a Star Wars fan to appreciate and enjoy these books as they offer a unique insight into the creative process. And even though I personally am not a fan of the new sequel trilogy, I still can't wait to see the future Taschen Star Wars Archive book covering those three films.

The Ultimate Guide to a Misunderstood Trilogy

I'm a very big fan of the Prequel Trilogy. Despite any problems people may have with them, they represent the pure vision of auteur filmmaker, within the scope of a Hollywood blockbuster. In an age of endless superhero movies and studio-driven nonsense, they've become a rare gem. They're the only films of this scale that have ever been self-funded by an indie director, and that makes them so unique and interesting. So it's wonderful to finally have a definitive reference guide for them.
